Located in the heart of PCMC. The project was launched on Oct. 10, 2019 and it comprises of Retail, Entertainment, Cinema, offices and Front plaza for activity and event celebration. It is G+ 4 structure. Ground, First & second for Retail, F&B and Cinema.  4th floor is for offices. Top Brand includes: Reliance Smart, Reliance Digital, Reliance Trends, Marks and Spencer’s, Shopper Stop, Max, Amoeba, PVR, One Plus, Daniel Wellington. Lenskart, Madura brands, KFC, Taco Bell, Burger King, Pizza Hut etc.

 

Utkal (1)Utkal Kanika Galleria is a luxury shopping mall (Launched on Sep. 29th 2019) located in the heart of the Bhubaneswar City. It is near Kalpana square and opposite to state Museum and BMC. The mall is spread over 2,40,000 sq. ft. area with G+3 level along with two basements for approx. 250 cars. The nearby affluent catchment residential area comprises of Saheed Nagar , Kharvel Nagar, Satya Nagar, Old Town, Tankapali road etc. The major corporate offices, Educational institutions, market places, Airports, Railways stations are within the radius of 5 km. Fully Air conditioned mall. Staggering 300 ft. modern facade with a combination of glass, wooden planks, Aluminium perforated jali and Aluminium composite panels.     • Managed fit-out of four Inorbit properties (Inorbit- Whitefiled, Vadodara, Vashi and Pune) across India that incurred aggregate footfall during weekend is of 40,000 individuals. The fit out brands stores included UCB, Tommy Hilfiger, Blackberry, Homestop, Shopper stop, Crossword etc.

    • The activities included site project management, drawing audits and approvals, material inventory management, and vendor management. During the process.

    • Achieved 5-7% reduction in the initial estimated cost & time by ensuring optimization in designs & services.

Developed design concept of ‘The Reliance Town Centre’ to create ‘One Stop’ hub to cater to retail needs of consumers in tier 2, 3 and 4 towns across India. The design covered entire spectrum of retail commerce including cinema multiplexes, food courts, hypermarkets, activity areas, and third party retail areas.

    • Project was rolled out in the 9 cities across India that witnessed weekly footfall of 200000 individuals with consistent growth rate of 12%.

Consultant Architect (Space Planning) – Hypermarket and Supermarkets Fit-Out

Projects – Flamez Mall Faridabad (98,000 ft2 – Hypermarket), Star city Mall, Delhi, U & Me Mall Gurgaon.

    • Hypermarket designing – transforming Business dimensions (percentage and area allocated for different formats like Apparels, jewelry, cards & gifts, home wares, electronics, BWS etc.) Into Retail Layout, redesigning retail spaces as per modified business figure as in when required, objective was to strike a perfect balance between customer experience & business requirement by focusing on every requirement from parking, circulation Movement (Escalator + Travelators ) Trolley movement, cash tills, department categories, brand categories, back house design.

    • The design was rolled out in four reputed malls in NCR (National Capital Region), India covering area of 200000 m2.

Jun’06 –Dec‘06: DSP Designs (Mumbai, India)

Consultant Architect (Space Planning) – Retail Design for M/s Coteba International, Paris   Projects – Reliance Shopping Mall

    • Gathered requirements and prepared plans, elevation, sections, and planned amalgamation of various service agencies, selection of Interior finishes

    • Handled day to day project execution tasks with the assistance of a team of two junior architects, directly reporting to me.

Consultant Architect (Space Planning):

    • Santacruz Airport, Mumbai: Worked on Designing of Arrival Façade elevation, VIP lounge, Mezzanine Area. Part of the onsite Architectural Team, Responsibilities included management & documentation of complex master file, detailing drawings & MEP amalgamations/coordination & everyday site issues.

    • Godrej Agrovet, Bangalore: Development of Plans after collecting client’s brief, working drawings –Detailing, co-coordinating with different service consultant.

    • Renovation of Vikhroli plant, Mumbai: Design and development to transform factory into office space of 10000 m2.

    • Renovation of Toll Gate: Won the best design award for the two toll gate designs, competing amongst Mumbai’s reputed architectural teams. The challenge was to minimize heavy vehicle traffic congestion and queuing inside the toll gate complex. The design was appreciated for originality in problem solving and rolled out to successful pilot and full-scale operation.

Apr’04–Apr’05Architect Hafeez Contractor Hafeez contractor(Location: Mumbai, India)    Architect (Space Planning)

    • Vedanta Housing, Orissa – Gathered requirements and developed architectural design

    • Architectural Projects: Sahara Townships, Sahara Hotel-Concept revision

    • Promenade landscape at Thane, Mumbai: An urban landscape project under leadership of Mr. Hafeez Contracter. I developed a novel design from scratch that is at par with International design standards mainly addressing the redevelopment of area under flyover.
